Families in Christ Jesus (FCJC)
Description: A Christian Community that is Catholic,
Charismatic, Evangelistic, and Family Life Oriented,
whose main purposes are to promote His Gospel,
establish prayer groups, provide Christian programs,
strengthen families, and encourage youth. Participate
in annual programs such as picnics and retreats.
Time: Meet once a month as a group; meet at homes
twice per month.
Duties: Work to enhance gardens and landscape;
adopt an area of the IHM campus.Several specific
Skills: Gardening skills, training may be required on
certain equipment.Enjoy gardening and working
outside; plant knowledge helpful.
Knights of Columbus
Duties: Participate in all parish activities as well as
community and right-to-life events. Provide support
to the parish and clergy.Dedicated to the principles of
Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism.
Time: Meets on the second Monday of each month.
Skills: Practicing Catholic male over the age of 18.
Parish Christmas Party
Duties: Help set up, organize and cleanup for pot
Time: One Saturday in December
Skills: Organization, decorating, setting up Hall for
Parish Council assisted by Knights of Columbus
Duties: Serve a three year term in assisting the
Pastor in the operation of the parish in an advisory
Time: One meeting each month, some additional
time depending on responsibilities assumed within
Duties: The entire parish family gathers for a pot-
luck dinner, drinks and desserts held in the parish
grove.Assist in organizing activities, setting up tables
and chairs, bringing dish to share with fellow

Duties: Contact newcomers to our parish and make
them feel welcome. Organize occasional social events
to welcome new parishioners.
Time: As required.
Skills: A willingness and dedication to reach out to
welcome and encourage new parishioners in person
or by phone.

Bible Study / FAITH FORMATION
Duties: Providing monthly fellowship in the Hall with
coffee, juice, and donuts, and conversation.Duties
include assisting with picking up donuts, setting up
and cleaning up coffee station, juice etc.
Time: One to three Sundays (or Saturday evenings) a
