THIS IS JUST A PRELIMINARY PAGE WITH BASIC INFORMATION. More details will be added soon.
Normally on the third Monday of most months (we take a break in July and August), we offer a special opportunity to receive God's healing grace.
Holy Days and holidays may cause us to move the Mass with Healing Service to another date.
NEXT MASS WITH HEALING SERVICE: September 23, 2024
The evening begins at 6:30 pm with Confessions, followed by Mass at 7 pm, and Eucharistic Adoration with healing prayers after the Mass (about 7:45 pm). For the healing prayers, small group of priests and deacons prays with each person. While the person either kneels or sits, the priest or deacon lays hands on their head while praying for their healing. To ensure modesty without singling anyone out, all women are covered with a shawl (provided) while they are being prayed over. It sometimes happens that someone "rests in the Spirit". While they are lying on the floor, they will be covered with a shawl (whether male or female) by the volunteer "catchers", who will also try to make sure they have a soft landing. Participants are invited to remain the whole time if possible, praying for those still waiting, as well as thanking God for they healing they may have received.
